OPENING CEREMONY OF THE SOUTHERN CONFERENCE OF DERMATOLOGY – SCD 2025

On September 28, 2025, at GEM Center, Ho Chi Minh City Dermatology Hospital officially inaugurated the Southern Conference of Dermatology – SCD 2025, themed “Innovation in Dermatology – Connecting and Advancing.” The event welcomed more than 1,000 specialists, doctors, and professionals in Dermatology and Aesthetics, reaffirming the prestige and influence of this annual scientific conference series organized by Ho Chi Minh City Dermatology Hospital.

The conference featured 2 plenary sessions, 8 parallel sessions, and 50 scientific presentations, offering a comprehensive overview of advancements in dermatological treatment, skin health, and aesthetic procedures. Key topics covered included acne management, chronic skin diseases, pigmentary disorders, the skin microbiome, as well as various dermatologic and cosmetic techniques.

During the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phan Thuy, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Dermatology Hospital, emphasized the conference’s role as a high-quality academic forum that fosters knowledge exchange, professional connection, and continuous medical learning within the dermatology community.
